Botulinum Toxin Clinic
The Brain Tower is the first center in Rajasthan which initiated the use of BOTULINUM TOXIN in various neurological disorders like spasticity, Cerebral Palsy, Blepharospasm, Hemifacial Spasm, Writer’s Cramp, Headache etc. Botox is a drug which is increasingly used in cosmetic surgery, and is made of botulinum toxin (type – A purified). Its injection causes the blocking of nervous impulses to the muscles. Botox is then used to eliminate the wrinkles, caused by the contraction of facial muscles. Botulinum Toxin (Botox) works by blocking the nerve impulses to the muscles right where the nerves meet the muscles. But it doesn’t only block nerves to muscles, it blocks all nervous signals that are mediated by a chemical called acetyl choline.

A Botulinum Toxin Clinic specializes in the use of botulinum toxin (commonly known as Botox) to treat various neurological conditions such as muscle spasticity, chronic migraines, dystonia, hemifacial spasm, and excessive sweating.
Most patients experience only mild discomfort or a pinching sensation during the injection. A fine needle is used, and in some cases, a numbing cream or cold pack may be applied beforehand to reduce discomfort.
The effects usually begin within 3–7 days and last for about 3–6 months, depending on the condition treated and the individual’s response. Repeat sessions may be needed for continued benefit.
Side effects are generally mild and temporary. They may include pain at the injection site, mild swelling, headache, or temporary weakness in nearby muscles. Serious side effects are rare and will be discussed before treatment.
